CALL OF SCHOLARSHIPS OF THE MEXICAN GOVERNMENT FOR FOREIGNERS

 

On behalf of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Mexican Agency for International Development Cooperation (AMEXCID) invites foreign citizens who are interested in studying for a specialization, master’s degree or doctorate, conducting graduate or postdoctoral research, or taking part in an undergraduate or graduate-level academic mobility program, to participate in the 2016 Mexican Government Scholarship Program for International Students.

 

ACU Scholarship Opportunity 

 

Apply now for the Association of Commonwealth Universities Commonwealth Scholarship and Fellowship Plan (CSFP) for Master’s level study in 2015.

 

This full tuition scholarship is open to persons who are citizens of any Commonwealth country except for those covered by the university and hold a first degree of upper second class Honours standard (or above) in a discipline relevant to that in which the study is proposed.

 

The application deadline is April 30.

The Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Foundation Directory of Resources for International Food and Nutrition Dietetics Professionals

 

The Foundation Directory of Resources for International Food and Nutrition Dietetics Professionals is designed for use by practitioners, graduates with Baccalaureate (or equivalent), or Graduate degrees in nutrition (biomedical), food, dietetics, public health, agriculture, foodservice management, food science, food science technology, and related areas. Individuals pursuing a professional degree may use this directory, or professionals who are seeking continuing education, training or work experience nationally or internationally. Fulbright Foreign Student Program in USA

 

The Fulbright Foreign Student Program enables graduate students, young professionals, and artists from abroad to research and study in the United States for one year or longer at U.S. universities or other appropriate institutions.

 

British Chevening Scholarships for International Students

 

Chevening Scholarships are the UK government’s global scholarship programme, funded by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) and partner organisations. The programme makes awards to outstanding scholars with leadership potential from around the world to study postgraduate courses at universities in the UK.

 

The programme provides full or part funding for full-time courses at postgraduate level, normally a one-year Master’s degree, in any subject and at any UK university.

 

Canada-CARICOM Leadership Scholarship Program

The Canada-CARICOM Leadership Scholarships Program provides students and researchers from the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) with short-term exchange opportunities for study or research at the college, undergraduate and graduate levels.

 

Endeavour Postgraduate Scholarships in Australia for International Students

 

The Endeavour Postgraduate Awards provide full financial support for international students to undertake a postgraduate qualification at a Masters (up to 2 years) or PhD level (up to 4 years) either by coursework or research in any field of study in Australia.

 

2015 Commonwealth Split-Site Scholarship

 

Applications for the 2015 Commonwealth Split-Site Doctoral Scholarships, tenable in the United Kingdom, are now open. Attached please find a copy of the 2015 Prospectus. These Scholarships support one year’s study at a UK university as part of a PhD being undertaken in a candidate’s home country, under the joint supervision of a home country and UK supervisor.

 

The UK Commonwealth Scholarship Commission (CSC) has this year taken the decision to allow candidates to apply directly to the Commission. The Commission has asked that we do all we can to encourage candidates who meet the eligibility criteria to apply. As in the past, candidates are required to submit applications using the Electronic Application System (EAS). The deadline for submission is December 3, 2014.

Fellowships

 

The Nestle Nutrition Institute offers research grants in the fields of young women’s health, mother and child health and nutrition. We offer these fellowship grants to health professionals from anywhere in the world * applying for post-graduate research training. The duration of the training can last up to 12 months. All institutions offering a training programme in the area of Maternal and/or Child Health and Nutrition are eligible to be a host institution.

 

World Bank PhD Research Grant

 

Every year the World Bank Robert S. McNamara Fellowship (RSM) Program provides grants of up to$25,000 to PhD candidates from developing countries to conduct innovative, development-related, PhD research under the supervision of a research advisor at a host institution abroad.

 

Fellows must commit to return to their home country when their fellowship ends to complete their PhD and to work.  Preference is given to lecturers and researchers who are employed in academic or research institutions in their home country and are currently enrolled in PhD programs.

 

GRAZ INTERNATIONAL SUMMER SCHOOL SEGGAU 2015

 

Calling all Graduate and PhD students! Take advantage of the GRAZ International Summer School Seggau 2015 with the topic, "Shifting Perspectives: Europe and the Americas."

 

The Summer School is held from June 28 - July 11, 2015 at Seggau Castle, Austria.

 

The cost of the programme is EUR 400 - (includes Accommodation, 3 daily meals, tuition, extracurricular activities). Qualified students receive a stipend of EUR 900 - (covers travel expenses from Trinidad & Tobago).

Wells Mountain Foundation Scholarship

 

Our hope is that by providing the opportunity to further one’s education, the scholarship participants will not only be able to improve their own future, but also that of their own communities. The foundation believes in the power and importance of community service and, as a result, all scholarship participants are required to volunteer for a minimum of 100 hours a year.

The scholarship awards are determined by the Board of Directors of the Wells Mountain Foundation and awarded once a year. Applications must be received by April 1 of each year to be considered for the following academic year. Only the selected WMF Scholarship recipients will be emailed on August 1. Their names will also be published on our homepage, news blog and the WMF Facebook page.

 

OAS Scholarship Opportunities for the Caribbean

The Organization of American States (OAS) Special Caribbean Scholarships Program (SPECAF), established in 1983, grants scholarships for the last two years of undergraduate studies to citizens and residents of the English-speaking Caribbean OAS Member States, and Suriname.
